Does it define the person?
Someone's skin colour isn't a "culture".
Eye/skin colour can be the same when the culture is different.
But oppression against an eye/skin colour *creates* a common culture. A common suffering. A resistance.
Denying their actual identity because of their appearance.
It shouldn't make a difference
I've only experienced proxy racism. It's unbearable.
And invisible when you're not confronted to it.
And speak out as fellow human beings.
It's not about clan X against clan Y, it's about all of us against ignorance and stupidity.
We are what we do, with what we're given.
Nothing else should matter
People demonstrating for men/women not to be beaten/killed: Good.
People taking it as an opportunity for looting: Bad
People around them: Not the looting people, don't shoot them.
Whatever their eye colour.
