Beautiful night for a protest, day 2. The helicopters are ruining it though. Flying low and loud. It’s very menacing. #dcprotests
Bike cops blocking 16th and K while phalanx of others march like the army down 16th. 
Hundreds of protesters heading back to wards Layfayette Square. Some take selfies on the Humvee on the way.
So much for the curfew.

This is a totally peaceful protest but I just overheard some guys talking about “hitting City Center” when the sun goes down. That’s where the oligarchs own condos and there’s a Tiffany’s. There are people in the crowd who look like they’re spoiling for a fight.
Guessing the troublemakers are the guys wearing goggles and smoking a blunt
There’s some serious venting going on here.
The cops are moving around in military style maneuvers to press the crowd out

God bless Luther Place church. They’re handing out masks and water and opened the bathrooms to the protesters. There’s a big women’s homeless shelter upstairs too.
Holy crap they weren’t kidding. Luther Place church is going to be open all night aiding protesters. They’re an old hippie Lutheran church.
