The reason they don't show peaceful protesters is the same reason they don't show peaceful cops. It's because the people who cook your information junk food know that your primordial amygdala craves the emotional rush of that sweet, sweet violence porn.
Judging by my Twitter feed, it really doesn't matter if the violence is being perpetrated by cops or protesters, it's all just more emotional fap material for people on both the left and right.
