An interesting issue that has always fascinated me: party discipline v. individual responsibility. What rule can we give for the two? Clearly in some cases you will vote with your party against your judgment. That comes with the turf. When should you not do so? (Thread)
1) When it is unethical. 2) But also when you find the policy entirely indefensible. According to my rule of thumb that means I would disagree with this vote given his position.
However, I respect making the issue so explicit. Thanks @SteveBakerHW
