CNN, CBS, MSNBC and everybody else now either need to prove the Park Police Chief a liar with actual evidence (let’s say a physical tear gas canister or rubber bullet, which should be easy if a protest was crushed by them), or retract the coordinated fake news they unleashed
Of course what will happen is they will pretend smoke = tear gas and pepper ball = rubber bullet and then spread a conspiracy theory that maybe it was the FBI, or the military, or someone else. Eventually they’ll say it doesn’t matter anyway, that’s old news, nobody cares
Then the hectoring lecture that breaking up a “protest” with smoke grenades and pepper balls is just Diet Dictator even though they claimed full fat Coke Hitler-style crackdown
Then they’ll attack the fact that the “intel” about the potential attack isn’t specified by the Police. This is the same people who pushed “Collusion” not only with no evidence, but kept pushing it even after there was anti-evidence
Just to be clear again on this: I’m not saying the Park Police Chief is 100% correct. I’m not accepting that on face value

What exactly are the media for if they are going to act like activists, rush to judgement, make claims without hard evidence and then not only fail to retract their previous claims in the face of inapposite facts, but refuse to even acknowledge them and just make new ones?
