"He was found to have forgiven his wife for having an affair twice in the past, but committed the crime while confronting her when he learned she was having another affair."
Court said "It is hard to say he intended to kill the victim after learning about the new affair, given that he forgave the victim's affairs twice in the past." Also could not conclude the golf club was the murder weapon since autopsy suggested he hit her with shaft, not head.
