@Gavi provides vaccines for children in poor countries; which is always important to save lives, but especially during a pandemic.
The organization is seeking funding of $7.4billion for the coming 5 years.
Diseases for which vaccines are available killed 5.1 million children back in 1990.
In 2017 the same diseases killed 1.8 million children.

One of the very positive news in 2020 was that the UK already pledged £1.65B to Gavi for the next 5 years. I’m very happy that my taxes are spent on this.
