Some of you servants of God will know what I mean when I say we don’t always speak because we’re just in the mood to. Sometimes we are bound by the Holy Spirit. Our natural minds may reason, “I probably should let up for a minute & throw out a movie meme or a recipe right now.”->

And the Holy Spirit presses so heavy on you, the only way to get relief is to say what He’s telling you to say. Oh, I well know there’ll be those who object to that. Rail on. I don’t have time to care this morning. If you’ve never experienced that, I can’t help you understand it.

I didn’t ask to be in Isaiah this morning. :) The Lord put me in Isaiah. This thread will be verses from that book but more than anything I pray that you consider reading Isaiah 55-59. We just keep hearing that the fight for justice is a distraction from the gospel & it’s absurd.

Did God have a heart change? Did He not spell out the job description of His Messiah in Is 61:1-3 & did Christ Himself not announce His fulfillment of it in His first sermon in Luke 4?? From the prophet Isaiah... “This is what the Lord says: preserve justice & do what is right,

For my salvation is coming soon and my righteousness will be revealed.” (56:1) “For the High and Exalted One who lives forever, whose name is holy, says this: I live in a high and holy place, and with the oppressed and lowly of spirit, to revive the spirit of the lowly and revive

the heart of the oppressed.” (57:15)
“Isn’t this the fast I choose: To break the chains of wickedness, to untie the ropes of the yoke, to set the oppressed free & to tear off every yoke?” (58:6) I hope so much you are still there. This may be the timeliest one & I’ll end with it:

“Justice is turned back & righteousness stands far off. For truth has stumbled in the public square & honesty cannot enter. Truth is missing & whoever turns from evil is plundered. The Lord saw that there was no justice & HE WAS OFFENDED.” Is.59:14-15
We must go with GOD on this.
