I want to clarify something...

If we want this shit to get better, then we had better be willing to listen when someone has the courage to tell us how the feel.

What good is the 1st Ammendment if no one fucking ever listens?

You don’t need agree; but you should listen.
There are SEVERAL points in that video that I simply don’t like; there is even a phrase used that made me cringe!

But...

Are your ideas magically going to win the debate somehow, by not listening? Or is the self-isolation going to reinforce the divisions?
... it sorta shocked me to hear what CMSAF had to say, but should it?

If we can predict what is going to happen with clarity (see poll), then why in the fuck is it shocking to hear how he feels?

Serious Question: Why wouldn’t we have expected him to feel that way?
Does a problem that festers directly in front of our face... give a shit if we think it *should* exist?

It’s already fucking there and people are telling us.

Listen and understand the problem... THEN drive the solution!
Confessional: I didn’t want to hear what he has to say bc I don’t like thinking the cracks run that deep.

Knowing that they exist means that what I believe in has failed to take root; it means, in some respects, that we have unaccounted/ignored failures!
... in short, it means that your/my ideals have failed to take root! If they had taken root, then a grown man (law abiding) wouldn’t feel that way.

It doesn’t mean you/I caused the failure; it means we haven’t prevented it.

Listen. Understand. Drive the solution.
