Let's give the DNC props for being master propagandists: before Trump was asked by the Clinton's to run for office, he was good for golfing trips and 5 star dinners with selfies. 1/x
Once it became clear he was going to beat all the cloth-coat republicans, he became the monster and then when he beat the Shill and all of her skeletons were laid bare by WikiLeaks, the Russian narrative began in earnest to cover her failed candidacy.
By continuing to beat the drum for the Russian narrative, they brought back the good old days and truly made America "Great Again" by reviving McCarthyism in the 21st Century.
They were trying to Out right the right and have steadily beat that drum ever since. Now even Susan Rice is saying the "riots" are "Russian Tactics". No shit. That is the surrogate messaging. Russian Tactics. Not... Not civil rights and the people tired of it... Russian Tactics.
You know what? Bad people believe it. Repeat it. Wash rinse repeat it. Obfuscate and double down on it.
And guess what? They impeached Trump. And guess what? It's as if it didn't happen. You know why? Because it was done in an absolutely partisan way. It was theatrics.
Now... Now he is talking about bringing the military out to quell the "riots" and stop these "thugs" from "looting" and "breaking windows" never mind the fact that video proof exists this is Jackbooted thugs in riot gear and gas masks from the police doing it.
So Biden, the guy the Demos propped up to stop Progressives wants to shoot "rioters" in the leg.
Susan Rice is disrespecting the movement and saying this is Russian Tactics while the rest of the world knows clearly that we have a major problem with fascism, right-wing policing and a patriotism steeped in xenophobia and the people are fighting back...
Fighting back against what it sees as a terrorist Organization killing black and brown people.
This COVID19 experience took away the bread and circuses.

People are seeing the world for what it is... And the DNC is once again proving it would rather lose to Trump than allow Progressives to win

So we all lose.

For anyone who thinks #MMT (Modern Monetary Theory) is a subject that can be put off or ignored, here is a small, non-comprehensive list of things that should serve to change your mind starting with

1. Because of that mindset we do not have healthcare in the USA.
2. Children and displaced older workers are burdened with 1.6 trillion in student debt
3. We do not have relief payments to families in the midst of a pandemic. No nationalized Payroll. No job guarantee.

Lots of people are gonna die because of the Depression we are about to really go full force into without any meaningful intervention. Here is the problem we face:

1. We are dealing with austerity and our movement hates to talk economics. Sad. #MMT won't even get discussed
2. The powers that be understand that our movement doesn't want to learn it discuss macroeconomics/MMT and they exploit it to maximum effect.
3. Many in the movement have created false narratives and are so partisanly loyal that they cannot function unless their party, favorite politician or media tells them what to do. They tell tales from the fire pit and revile research. The establishment knows this and counts on it

I hate when I see leftist politicos ignorantly reference either the US $ as the "world reserve currency" or the petrodollar as to why we can Deficit spend. Someone needs to check out other Monetary sovereigns like the UK, Japan, Australia & many others. Stop saying dumb shit. 1/x
