3.National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) of India report on June 11, 1999 states 157 leaders killed during this period, 37 where Hindus and 120 where Muslims. It is no surprise that NHRC DENIED KP’s claim to classify their killing as GENOCIDE or ETHNIC CLEANSING.
