Sad thing about all of the riots is that after it isn’t trendy in a couple weeks these neighborhoods will all be left with less opportunity, more crime and all of the journalists that were paying so much attention will go back to not caring at all about these communities anymore.
There will be far less investment in the cities. I’ve worked with large developers for years. They aren’t going to be investing as much in the cities after this and it was already starting to trend downward before. Urban flight and Urban decay is coming.
All for what? So we could reduce the negligible amount of black men killed by Police and most due to incompetence not racism? That’s not sticking it to anyone but the already disadvantaged. The “privledged” don’t care they will just invest elsewhere where the money is.
