Imagine of workplace of thousands of people, where the bosses summon people to come back, travelling from all around the country, many on public transport, to gather sometimes in close proximity, and then one comes down with suspected coronavirus. Outright negligence?
You don't have to imagine that workplace. That's what the UK government did to MPs, ignoring its own guidance to others to work from home where possible.

The mystery of why the UK has been pretty much worst hit by coronavirus is perhaps not so mysterious.
Those MPs who chose to simply ignore the government on returning for their own or others safety must feel they did the right thing. The problem is that each government misstep adds to the number of people who are not going to follow government advice.
