I understand the frustration
If people with your skin color were property once
It’s fair to be afraid many still you see that way
Even if it’s illegal, there is still a general fear many don’t see them as equals
I’m aware that most of the sentiments regarding this issue aren’t truly supported by long term studies and general proveable patterns
But this is a cultural grievance
It “feels” very real within the communities themselves
So it’s important to be empathetic and approach this complicated issue of race relations in a way that acknowledges the facts sure
But doesn’t ignore the sentiments of the community itself
But we must unite
So no matter your skin color
Be aware of the human element in all of this
Don’t just try to be “right”
Promote peace & try to understand how others experience the world
There is a balance
Ultimately make love your highest aim
But the truth explained in love and with patience can be helpful as well
If you don’t love you have nothing
