@tsalaroth ah! i can explain! 🙏 i was in a long recording session with a team and i got a urgent message from a senior honeycomber saying please delete my tweets because angry buzz is snowballing. i deleted on faith without reading or seeing any of the followup convo.

so! hours later ....

@tsalaroth finally get back to my desk and dig in, and shit gets .. *weeird*. it is very hard to see how some of these reads could be done in good faith. but ofc because i deleted them, you can't see that. 😑(small town, there are.. personal.. backstories.) liz + i both became overwhelmed,

@tsalaroth i did not want to speak or act rashly and i had been up for two days (worked 15 hours overnight on this, trying to get it right) so i was not at my best.

the plan is to put it all in a blog post monday, with some narrative of events.. not to center myself, just close the loop.

i spoke up after pressure from Black women i admire (worship?) who said my silence was a cancer, and my duty was to speak to white people. should i have led with that? would it have mattered? should it? sigh.

@tsalaroth right now there's trauma and rage erupting all over (UNDERSTANDABLY) and these new rules are confusing and contradictory and def are not workable long run. it's a wide pendulum swing away from our horrible past.

like "BELIEVE ALL WOMEN"! sure, lets overcorrect a spell, but, ah..
