Our daily update is published. We’ve now tracked 18.7 million tests, up 465k from yesterday, the second-highest daily total we've seen.

Note that we can only track tests that a state reports.

For details, see: covidtracking.com
States reported fewer than 21k new cases today. The 7-day average fell a bit. After last week's higher numbers, we've seen some lower numbers, especially in the big states like CA and TX.
This is what a "patchwork pandemic" (as @edyong209 called it) looks like.

The regions vary, as do the states. While New York is seeing its best days since the very beginning, Arizona is seeing its worst.
States reported 909 deaths, which drove the 7-day average to its lowest point since April 3.
We're getting a lot of questions about Georgia. As you can see, no clear signal of a major outbreak in the state.

Testing volume is way down since May 26, but the state is reporting about the same number of cases. It's unclear if this is a testing or a test reporting issue.
Mobility reports from Apple and Google for Georgia suggest that while some things have returned to normal, others have not.
