You know, there needs to be a better word for irony to describe the juxtaposition between this @aliIngersoll article about
Det. John Losi "working with" protestors yesterday, and the fact that he instigated knocking a 75yo man to the ground tonight.

The third officer (on the left) held his baton horizontally, but did not seem to intentionally engage in aggression; Losi PUSHED him into the elderly man, then dragged him away when that officer attempted to help the fallen man.
If I lived in Buffalo, I'd want to make sure that John Losi is taken off the streets - and, for good measure, look at his relatives on the force too.

The third officer may not be at fault. The other two are.

This take is wrong.

Free speech is the expression of ideas, not the right to verbally and psychologically abuse entire classes of people in their homes.

I'm against forced exposure to speech that normalizes and perpetuates abuse - in classrooms, broadcasts, or in other forums
Inviting Bannon, someone who promotes language that minimizes trauma experienced by those who have been sexually assaulted, who weaponizes race, who works to divide and tear society apart for profit - he has every right to speak his mind.

But amplifying his speech is a choice.
If you build an identity based on for-profit minimization of others' humanity for political aims (and/or sedition), you should anticipate that you lose the privilege to be amplified in civil forums.

@rosenbergerlm Understood, but I have seen a couple of groups organizing demonstrations in smaller cities that have all the hallmarks of foreign operation on social media.

Where the groups state violence will occur, urge all attendees to wear all black, etc.

@rosenbergerlm ID'ed one someone linked to Boston bombing who was deported, one of the Nashville arsonists who has since been arrested this week, but you rarely get confirmation your info is escalated.

Is there anyone we can TRUST with giving this info to?
