I have no idea how anyone makes it through this week and still thinks that “police” as we currently have it, nationally, is something that can be reformed or saved, nor why anyone would want even to try.
The casual contempt, the reflexive brutality. The way they close ranks to protect each other's right to personally administer it.
The way the system reflexively lies to protect them.
They act this way when they know they're recorded. So we know—THIS is their *good* behavior.

We've known this for a good while, if we believe Black people, or if we watched what evidence was available to us, then used logic and extrapolation.
