The Trump campaign put a returned hostage from Iran in a campaign tweet while he was still standing on the tarmac last night.
and the State Dept’s Brian Hook was in the Fox video with the returned hostage that the Trump campaign tweeted. Seemed propagandistic and like a US official should probably not be in a such a political campaign effort.
It also did not seem right to treat the returned hostage, navy vet Michael White, who has been suffering from covid19, like that.
White, in the Fox video, on the tarmac upon landing, said he’d been out on medical furlough, and thanked Trump for efforts to bring him home. But instantly putting it in a Trump campaign tweet as he’s still on the tarmac after being a hostage and ill, seemed exploitative.
