We should all be pissed and disgusted.

1. Barr has assumed the role of Hermann Göring, and essentially declared himself the law.
2. He has established a group of "police" that's a subset of the federal civilian uniformed officers but they have no role chartered by law.

3. They conceal their identities and act at solely Barr's direction and discretion as secret police.
4. The group is comprised almost exclusively of white men. Those optics are as terrible as their conduct because they are the gangsterism arm of Trump brutality.

5. What oath of loyalty did they take? Because they are abusing and oppressing the civil rights of the people are they Trump loyalist or what? How were they selected, an d by whom?
6. Because contractors serve the Bureau of Prisons, are the part of this group, too?

Those questions demand answers.

This is just a tiny subset of the much larger universe of problematic, immoral, indefensible, and undoubtedly illegal actions by the attorney general. Barr's behaviors and actions are antithetical to the theory and reality of liberty and justice.

William Barr is the tip of the spear of the threat to American democracy.

This cannot stand in the next administration. Justice must be restored...served.
