I’m at a crossroad.
Far away from my grassroots.
Left to choose between the bar and the stage.
Performing before an audience or defending souls before a supposed sage. Image
Left to choose between intermittent bows to a person or curtain calls.
My heart bleeds for both but my soul is monogamous.
I wish I could at this stage be polygamous
But nay ! Shift me to neutral. I’ll rather take free falls and feel marvelous.
I’m at a crossroad.
Far away from my grassroots.
Haunted in my sleep at day and night.
Flutes sooth me to bed. Pianos take me along the journey.
Sopranos lift my soul high. Imaginary costume laugh with me yet the gavel sees itself a musical instrument. Rubbing itself in my face and beating rhythms of war that leave me in fright.

I was posted to teach at Oyarifa Presby JHS and I gladly accepted the offer. It’s been one of the best decisions I ever made. An experience I’ll always keep with me. ❤️
I taught English language and physical education( every Wednesday). My headteacher got me breakfast every Wednesday morning. I loved Wednesdays. Hahah. There’s a lot of potential in our schools, the only challenge is availability of opportunities.
As a service personnel in a school, the best part of it was that I closed early and I had weekends free and vacation came in handy as well. Meaning I had enough time to do any other thing I had to do without my work having to interfere.

If you ask me, our only way out of this whole #COVID2019ghana is to first of all do mass testing which I’m told has started taking place in certain areas. That will have to be fast tracked and made more efficient. By June Bibiaa b3y3 fine.
Secondly, we have to keep up with the education of the people who do not have access to the technology and resource to get access to information like you and I do. The rural areas etc we must reach out to them and make sure they’re abreast with what’s happening. #COVID2019ghana
The NCCE should lead the charge. Communication and information ministries should support. In our zongo and Muslims communities the PA systems in the mosques can be utilized to run announcements effectively. #COVID2019ghana. By June na Bibiaa ay3 fine.

During PE period today I decided to move from the usual sports, working out, voice training, games etc.

My focus today was to get to know my students i.e where they come from, where they live presently and what they aspire to be in future.
I was stunned, extremely happy and above all inspired as I listened. Amongst the professions and career paths included, farmers, doctors, business tycoons, pilots, teachers, footballers, fashion designers, engineers, scientists, musicians, artists, presidents and many many more.
As they outlined their future plans all I could imagine was a prosperous future for our country Ghana and our continent Africa. A continent where young people take charge of managing the affairs of the continent and seeing to it that we are able to reach the promised land.

I walked into class yesterday to teach. It was a busy Monday morning and I had missed my students because I didn’t meet them the previous week.
It was a fun class I must say. During the lesson I realized one of the students had these items under this desk so after class I walked up to him and ask him what he had there and he told me he made a helicopter and a car.
