Because twitter is the most amazing networking and learning network ever built.
Smart VC's and tech investors like @bgurley already know this.
I learned so much from this awesome one-hour seminar conducted by @david_perell and @mkobach

There follows my summary of some of the best ideas that I gleaned from listening in.
In the words of Marshall McLuhan, the Medium is the message. amzn.to/2XHIuWy
We have to change how we think and communicate for each new medium.
⚫️ It's a special kind of one-to-one and one-to-many conversation.
⚫️ We should tailor our messages accordingly.
🔵 In an era of abundance, the best get better.
🔵 But the median gets worse.
Why?
🔵 Because there is more choice.
🔵 So we have to be more discerning.
That means:
- Pick and choose what I read very carefully.
- Don't use twitter's recommendations.
- Aggressively unfollow or block people with unwholesome content.
- Only create content that enhances peoples lives and which is enriching or enlightening and contributes to learning. That helps people develop their knowledge and wisdom.
Nobody cares what I had for lunch, or what great thing I just did.
What they are about is what's in it for them.
If there is nothing in it for them, just shut up.

They can’t be seen, but they exercise a powerful gravitational force.
@VALUExZH @valuemonk @inveniam @WSDFirm and others David is no dummy.
This is your seminar on How to Crush it on Twitter bit.ly/dperellcrushit…
And, well, yes - you crushed it. Thanks!
LinkedIn = Businessman in a suit with a business card.
Twitter = The same man at the bar, over a beer chatting.
If that man is, say Jamie Dimon, where and how would you prefer to meet him?
