This is great. In the editor's note on @SenTomCotton's op-ed: "the tone of the essay in places is needlessly harsh"

This is the same newspaper, as I have harped on until even I am sick of hearing myself, published an **assassination fantasy** about Trump.

This @WHO statement on the Der Spiegel article says "To note: China confirmed human-to-human transmission of the novel coronavirus on 20 January."

Yet, to this day, China's Health Commission website lists January 25th as date "Human-to-human transmission confirmed":
This is especially important because by January 25th, millions had left Wuhan, the epicenter of the epidemic. The Chinese Communist govt appears to be trying to distort the timeline to avoid greater culpability.

Also, note the "@WHO refused to declare the virus a global health emergency," as if China is saying "we tried to tell them!" WHO will defend China, but China is perfectly willing to chuck WHO under the bus.
