The system of employment is not natural. And we would understand where the problem of our economy and education lies if we understood that employment is not natural.

It's a form of theft.

Employment is forced on us. We don't seek it.
Employment is a form of paid slavery. We have a group of people who believe that it is their God-given right not to work, but to eat, work must be done.

So they come up with ways to make sure they can benefit from our labor.

One way is to steal land and impose title deeds.
The class of lazy bums fences of the land so that people are denied a place to graze, pick fruits, harvest or farm.

So when these oppressed people go to the lazy bums to ask to use the land, they are told they need a title deed which they have to pay for.
How do they pay for the title deed?
Money created by the same land theives.

How do they get that money?
By working for the land theives.

That's how we get forced to be employed.
Now let's say you decide to be clever, and use the land anyway to feed yourself. After all, Mr. Lazy bum didn't create the land either. It was created by God.

What does Lazy Bum do? He calls government to come with guns and shoot you for violating Lazy Bum's "right" to property.
Or let's say, you decide to be an entrepreneur, like a dairy farmer?

Lazy bum gets government to write a dairy act to restrict you from selling your milk, cheats you that your milk there's milk from Uganda, and calls all that racket "regulation."
Where does schooling fall in this racket?

Schooling is PR. Like money in the previous tweet. It's a way of saying "we have a right to take your labor because you are not QUALIFIED to deserve better."

But who sets the rules for those "qualifications"?

Yes. Lazy bum yule yule.
Then let's say you gather, many of you, and say: we need an end to this government that is setting rules without our input.

What does Mr. Lazy bum do?

He gives you elections, but controls the information you need to vote wisely (media), chooses the people who will count votes.
So stories of sijui quality, entrepreneurship... is nonsense. If GoK doesn't want us to seek employment, then we must have democracy.

We must remove regulations like "quality," licenses, title deeds, all which make earning a livelihood difficult and force us to seek employment.
We must end land speculation, and the whole bullshit FIRE industry (finance, insurance, real estate) that makes money from thin air, tenders and handshakes.

The conversation about TVET and degrees is just entertainment to distract you from the real problem. Stop buying the bs.
