It’s finally Election Day and the line at the polls for Park Tavern — which is preparing to serve 16,000 active voters following a five precinct consolidation — is wrapped around the building and growing 15 minutes before polls open at 7 a.m.

Poll workers at Park Tavern are telling voters there are technically two lines: for people who would usually vote at Grady High School and a separate line for Lutheran Church of the Redeemer. Most voters are unaware of the two line situation and some unsure which line to get in.

A group of voters move from the original line to the second line for people who originally would vote at Grady High School.
