There’s a certain virulent, anti-intellectual strain of thought on the left that replaces logic and reason with experience - particularly on issues related to identity - and I don’t know that we all really grasp the threat yet. It’s Dark Ages level stuff.
It’s the same white-people-kneeling-in-submission mentality that, but for that identity - be it race, gender, sexuality, what have you - you are not and can not be worthy of having thoughts on a subject.
You can’t have a free society that gives in to that perspective.

And in the same way that this ideological pestilence started from college campuses, recent events (defund the police, anyone?) have shown us that the jump isn’t as hard to make as we once thought.
Sometimes I write tweets hoping Adrian Vermeule sees them and this is definitely one of those times.
