@yogibhadani The beauty of "words" and jargon, especially in humanities is that the same word can be overloaded at will to suit different meanings. Was Churchill's "nationalism" same as "Bose's": were there methods really identical? were there "compromises" and "values" identical?
@yogibhadani Churchill absolutely hated Indians, especially when he hated Indians he meant "Hindus". Churchill's life shows a persistent disparaging civilizations/cultures/"races" - especially of India, and within Europe - those that were militarily defeated&not sadistic enough for his taste.
@yogibhadani Did Churchill really need to allow the horrendous deprivation that his policies meant for Bengal to cater to his "nation=UK"'s "ism"? Churchill had the power and choice not to starve ppl to death. He didnt need to and didnt "compromise" with anything for that in India.
@yogibhadani What deep "value" compromise this Roman sadism admiring British scum make for his nation? except possibly a tactical shutting up while sailing on the ocean before his US counterpart's pressure for easing up on colonies - which he didnt hv to oversee anyway as the counterpart died
@yogibhadani His position was that of immense power at the head of a colonial empire with full and drastic mechanisms to extract the maximum possible material and human resources from populations treated as subject cattle. He didnt compromise on his regimes murderous colonial policies.
@yogibhadani Bose had in reality no power backed by such a murderous colonial machinery - he wd hv been much weaker in any negotiations with foreign regimes. Yet did he participate or send in the troops recruited to carry out the butchering Churchill as head of gov is responsible for?
@yogibhadani what "nationhood" was Churchill's "nationalism" fighting for? the imperialism of a band of thugs who enjoyed their power over human flesh so much and thought of the world as subject captive cattle - especially if they cd be fit into their fantasies of racial hierarchies?
@yogibhadani Do you see a parallel in Bose's "nationalism" and "nationhood"? Churchill was closer to the Nazi's in his racist view of the world - his resentment was that Germans wr claiming the racial supremacy that Churchill reserved for his own segment within British society.
@yogibhadani Humans have body hair. Goats have body hair too - just thicker and called fur. Doesnt imply its not body hair. Both have "body haired" and therefore "hairy". Therefore they must be identical. Thats the endpoint of "frontline" based comparisons.
