This post raises interesting issues. How many on the Left honestly believe they live in the United States of America. At first you might say, of course. It sounds like a stupid question. But many Liberals, especially among young & those who are committed Progressive-Socialists.

Libs consider the U.S. Government, as many of us understand it, to be a remnant of an outmoded concept- the Nation State. Global government is where they invest their real loyalties. This is why borders are deemed racist and the Constitution is an invention of old White men.

Wars are illegitimate unless waged under the auspices of U.N., NATO or some other global authority.

Such people rebel against Scriptural concept of boundaries. They are impatient with Constitutional checks & balances & call for defunding the police & destruction of property.

They are even willing to beat & murder innocent people that fall into their hands.

Such folks even claim to be Christian & patriotic. They say things like racism is not patriotic. The problem is that anyone who disagrees with them is labeled racist.

It pleases God to create boundaries between nations & between people & their governments.

The boundaries- called Rule of Law- protect property & distinguish between public & private spheres of authority. Socialism breaks down those boundaries & substitutes totalitarianism.

Marriage is a boundary and a Covenant. Nations are also established by covenants and entail boundaries. Our loyalty is first to Christ. Nevertheless, without Constitutional protections & state, local & federal boundaries/personal accountability to God, no freedoms are secure.

This why the Constitution and the Bible have been under attack for years. Progressives want us focused on Human Rights, which can be expanded to include jobs, housing, food, education, Abortion, and medical care. And those are only the beginning.
