When questioned in the House of Commons last week, equalities Minister, @KemiBadenoch said Public Health England "did not make recommendations because they were not able to do so"
But Prof Raj Bhopal from the Usher Institute at Edinburgh University told BBC News "Parliament had not been told the full truth" and called for the 64-page document to be immediately released
After the BBC approached the government, it now says it intends to publish this second 20, 569 word report "next week" and that Ms Badenoch was "referring only to the published report" when being addressed by MPs last week
@UKLabour say: “The government’s decision to block this report is scandalous and a tragedy. The recommendations it makes could have saved lives. The minister should now explain what she knew about it and when.”
