Far right activists are out in London and other locations around England. Their goal is confrontation. We'll be tracking what they're doing & sharing updates on this thread. If you have reports please share them with us in confidence via DMs.
Around 500 are gathered in Parliament Square, including Britain First's Paul Golding, and the London organiser of the far right 'For Britain' group Sam Sibbons.
Around two hundred more protesters have converged on Parliament Sq, coming in from St James Park direction. Latest estimate is that around 1,000 are now in Parliament Square.
Violence flared at the cenotaph a few moments ago with bottles being thrown at the police by demonstrators who have been moved back to parliament square.
Police in riot gear are moving in by the cenotaph to push far right protesters away after bottles were thrown.
Some of the protesters are in masks, but not the PPE type masks.

Earlier, bottles were thrown and protesters broke through police lines closer to the Victoria Tower end of parliament, chanting ‘Tommy Robinson’. They returned a little later.
Parliament Square and the immediate side streets are now strewn with empty beer cans.
Far right protesters appear to have broken the nose of a media photographer. This clip shows them gloating as he's led away to receive treatment.

Smoke canister thrown at police lines close to the cenotaph. Thankfully it’s covered to protect from this far right demo. Cans and bottles also thrown.

Looks like a sizeable group of football lads have crossed over the river and are milling around in the County Hall / Waterloo area.
It’s hard to keep up with the number of violent incidents taking place around Parliament Square.

One persistent pattern of today’s protests, seen time and time again throughout the day: abuse, harassment and physical assault of journalists who are present to cover the demonstration.
Reports that groups of far right now near Trafalgar Square. Fights breaking out. Police struggling to control things.

Far right protesters are trying to attack the Black Lives Matter rally in Newcastle. Smoke canisters and bottles have been thrown at the police.
In London, a small contingent of the far right have broken off from the main group and are attacking a few people on bikes on the Mall.

Violence aimed at the police has been relentless all day. Their lies about ‘protecting monuments’ were clear all week, but now even those who complained about statues being temporarily boarded up can see the reality.
Police are now coming into Trafalgar Square in large numbers. Will clearly try to clear it at, or soon after, the 5pm protest cut off point imposed yesterday. Far right thugs continue to throw bottles sporadically and occasional fights are breaking out.
Yet more reports of abuse and violence aimed at the media.
