But if you are after the plot, however, you might want to reconsider— especially if you are uncomfortable with subjects like stalking, obsession, and manipulation. The drama didn't address these issues properly and in fact, indirectly encouraged it.
I believe in second chances and I think that's what the original writer intended in the first place. To give JB/JC vindication, for HE/SB to meet her fated, SH/HB to protect his loved one forever.
But the drama, from episode 11 onwards, focused so much on giving these agonizing changes to the FL's judgment and morals. That is why it was hard to accept how the drama unfolded towards the end. Sa Bin had good intentions but the way it was carried out was harrowing.
The negative reviews didn't just stem from disliking the ending of who gets to end up with who. It was the poor writing and double standard morality that didn't really sit well with the viewers. Read other forums and discussion pages and you'll see the same. #BornAgain
And most certainly, it isn't hatred towards the actors. It's their characters. I actually praise and thank them for giving it their all. #BornAgain
