2. Zimbabwe did not start printing in 2000. It started in 1990 elections. The crush of the Zimbabwean dollar in Nov 1997 was a result of an overheated printing press that started in 1990.

4. There is nothing special about what Kenya has done. They’ve no mineral ore. It’s a corrupt country without a superior economic model like S. Korea & Singapore.

5. Contrast with Zim, FDI in 2019 was $250m. While remittances were above $1bn. Never has FDI surpassed remittances. Yet GOZ launched a mineral ore investment policy targeting $12bn in 2030. This isn’t just delusional. It’s stupidity. Why interested in foreigners & not locals 🤷🏻♀️

7. In a normal state that espouses economic tenets, noone would’ve ever suggested 1:1 gedye. It would never cross any mind. If in the rare chance it did, it would be laughed off as ludicrous. That grown folk decided on this as policy- for whatever reason, proves the idiocy!
8. It’s not to say there are no clever people or intellectuals in GOZ. But most tend to be what Nassim Taleb calls Intellectual Yet Idot (IYI). They’ve rejected common sense and common theory of evidence in preference for new wacky ideas. When they don’t work they double down.
