May 1974, two cars (PCH 1224 and PCH 1227) were sold to Victorian Railways to complement two DRC railcars VR had.
DRC 42 and 43 were converted PCH 1224 and 1227.

1994 the cars were auctioned off.
'1977 PCR 1201 PCH 122, PCH 1223 & PCH 1225 were converted into Exhibition cars for the Queen Elizabeth II 25th Jubilee travelling display train.'
Returned to storage at the end of this activity.
