if i'm not mistaken i started a publishing company today
to be clear, this means entering stage 2.0 of my blog, tasshin.com, and newsletter. it means asking lots of people to help in very specific ways
the plan is that my months of silence on the blog (due to extensive meditation retreat) will end soon and I'll have a flood of new posts to share with you and the world
i now have about five people helping me in various support roles: a blog manager, a research assistant, two interns / research apprentices (both apprentices/short-term residents at MAPLE), and someone turning audio of me speaking into transcriptions and then first drafts
this is entirely operating in a gift economy where people are trading their time and skills for the opportunity to help me, hopefully the world, and also gain skills through the project work and my mentorship
