@WhoWouldWin13 Both Foreman and Shavers are known for being heavy hitters. I doubt if there was another heavyweight of the time who could hit as hard as they could. However, when boxers who fought both men are asked who hit harder...they all have answered the same way.

Shavers.
@WhoWouldWin13 One described Foreman's punch as a "BOOM!", while describing Shaver's punch as a "PAAW-YOW! Shaver's not only had the harder punch, he was also faster, capable of landing a lot more super heavy shots in a short period of time than Foreman. That combination of superior punching
@WhoWouldWin13 power and superior speed...would leave Foreman with a considerable challenge. I don't know which man had the tougher chin, but I suspect that Foreman did, which would give him a good advantage. He is also stronger than Shavers (just because you're stronger than your opponent
@WhoWouldWin13 doesn't mean that you will hit harder. Randall Tex Cobb is one of the strongest heavyweight boxers ever known, but hi punching power was average. Shaver's wasn't as strong as Cobb, but hit like a freight train). Thus, Foreman could clinch a lot with Shavers, until Shaver's arms
@WhoWouldWin13 grow tired, while Foreman, with stronger arms, wouldn't be as tired. Still, the speed and power combo is awesome, and at the end of the day, power hurts, speed kills, both obliterate.
@WhoWouldWin13 SHAVERS SLUGS FOREMAN!!!!!
