[My respond to National People's Congress Standing Committee member Tam Yiu-chung said that Extraditions possible under new national security law]

1/ Tam’s comment marks the end of One Country Two Systems framework and the city’s judicial independence.

2/ Bypassing the extradition law, Beijing is now hanging a Sword of Damocles over civil society and business sectors in this global business centre since Beijing has exclusive power to determine what cases can be sent to China’s courts and prisons.
3/ Under China’s wolf-warrior diplomacy, even ex-pats or travellers can be victims, just like the two Canadians Michael Kovrig and Michael Spavor that are still detained in retaliation for the arrest of Huawei executive Meng Wanzhou.
4/ It's just the stepping stone for more interference from Beijing. Through the same top-down mechanism, Beijing can impose its cybersecurity law, censorship regimes & social credit system upon HK. I call upon the world to stand with HK and urge China to withdraw this evil law.

1/ Last night, while I was walking with District Councillor @tiffanyykw, I realised I was being followed again. Fortunately, I made it back home safely. Everything is fine, for now.
2/ At about 8PM, we and our friends discovered a white-coloured car parked in the San Po Kong area. There was something suspicious about it. Three hours later, after we left our meeting, we found out that we were each being tailed by a group of four. So, we confronted them.
3/ The people who were snooping on us immediately raised a racket, loudly accusing us of trying to rob them. Finally, they hightailed their way to a taxi & took off, defeated. We noticed that our stalkers, in previous occasions, were all picked up by the same white-coloured car.

1/ When the world criticizes Beijing for scraping its promise and imposing the national security law on HK, @dwnews Chinese reports that Germany’s foreign minister @HeikoMaas said Germany would not take strong actions.
2/ If it is the case, I am utterly disappointed about German Gov’s unprincipled response towards evil law. Even though I entirely understand that German may have concerns about sanctions, but it doesn't mean that Germany has to wholly ignorant of domestic & foreign concerns...
3/ ...and uncritically kowtow to Beijing when China is now tearing up its UN-filed Joint Declaration. More importantly, the law is unilaterally imposed and implemented by a government with deteriorating human rights records. That is a fact that no one can deny.

2/ “More than 3,000 students have been arrested since last summer. A 16-year-old kid was prosecuted on riot charges and faces a jail sentence of ten years. The youngest arrested student was 11. That is the nightmare Hong Kong is facing.”
