After I wrote about it y’day, BJP called the supplier & got them to change the price from 2.5 lacs to a whopping 11 lacs.
Funnily - the change is so recent that Google’s web spider hasn’t yet updated it & shows 2.5 lacs.

They claim 50,000 ventilators procured.
So now price of 1 ventilator is allegedly 11 lacs.
Thats a total of 5500 crores.
But PM CARES has only allocated 2000 crores.
Did they buy any ventilators at all beyond that photo-op?

PS: This CV200 ventilator btw is a Philips model that’s manufactured under license by a Mysore-based company called Skanray.
