Bolton's book alleges Trump asked the Chinese president to help him win the election by purchasing more U.S. agricultural products.

washingtonpost.com/politics/trump…
Trump told Xi that Democrats were hostile towards China and told Xi that China could help him - Trump - win.

🚨🚨 In fact, according to Bolton, Trump was "pleading with Xi to ensure he’d win."
"The request for electoral assistance from Xi is just one of many instances described by Bolton in which Trump seeks favors or approval from authoritarian leaders. Many of those same leaders were also happy to take advantage of the U.S. president and attempt to manipulate him."
The Washington Post describes Bolton's nearly 600-page book as "most substantive, critical dissection of the president from an administration insider so far."

I would like to know why Merrick Garland has not appointed a Special Counsel to investigate the Saudis' gift of $2 billion to Jared Kushner.
I would like to know if the $2 billion was in any way related to Jared's top secret security clearance.
I would like to know what exactly occurred during Jared Kushner's secret trip to Saudi Arabia in October of 2017.

Trump is destroying the Republican Party.

He seems to be behind an effort to unseat McConnell. The senators calling for delaying the leadership vote mostly read like a Who's Who of Senate Coup Proponents: Marco Rubio, Rick Scott, Hawley, Mike Lee, Ted Cruz.
Also, Trump re-"truth"-ed a Breitbart article about the letter circulating to delay the vote.

You can bet the bank that Trump's been in contact with Rubio and others about this effort.

Trump is trying to unseat McConnell.
Blaming McConnell for the election loss is ludicrous since McConnell was against Trump's loser candidates. But Trump is angry and embarrassed and now intends to scapegoat McConnell and also enact some revenge on him for not being Trumpy enough.

Watching these 1/6 videos of Pelosi and Schumer having to BEG impotent Departments of Defense and Justice for assistance while the United States Capitol was under siege is infuriating!

Their responses overheard from Pelosi's cellphone are pathetic. Humiliating!
Why hasn't Wray answered for this yet?

Why don't we know who in the DoD was dragging their feet?
Why wasn't law enforcement CALLING THEM!?

They should have been frantically rushing all the help they could immediately.

Instead, they were treating Pelosi and Schumer with all the sense of emergency they might afford their kids' school inquiring about unexcused absences!

How many political fundraising emails do you get per day?
By the way, I never donate from an email link. I just go to ActBlue, but my inbox is *so inundated* with these emails.

I've tried to "unsubscribe" but every time I get rid of one, it's like a fundraising Hydra monster. I get 3 more in its place.
I am TOTALLY for fundraising. Donate! We need Democratic majorities.

I just really miss having a clean inbox.

FOURTEEN Former Trump aides were interviewed for this breaking story about Trump's mishandling of documents. 🧵

Some new info here: 👇

(1/6)

washingtonpost.com/national-secur…
The story says that Trump *intimidated staffers* who might try to retrieve the classified documents.

Seems pretty important to dig into what this means. What exactly did he say or do when they tried? (2/6) Image
John Kelly said that Trump "rejected the Presidential Records Act" entirely.

Poll: Should Congress pass a law against automatic subscription renewals?

(please retweet🙏)
I think minimally, if you can subscribe to something online, you should be allowed to unsubscribe online and not have to search for a phone number, find a human, and then beg to be allowed to unsubscribe.

Both of which I had to do with @nytimes and @WSJ.
@nytimes @WSJ "Dear sir, I've been looking for this phone number for over an hour because the newspaper doesn't actually want me to find it. Now that I have, please stop taking my money every month and don't make me have to explain myself to you."
