I would like to know why Merrick Garland has not appointed a Special Counsel to investigate the Saudis' gift of $2 billion to Jared Kushner. I would like to know if the $2 billion was in any way related to Jared's top secret security clearance.

Trump is destroying the Republican Party.

He seems to be behind an effort to unseat McConnell. The senators calling for delaying the leadership vote mostly read like a Who's Who of Senate Coup Proponents: Marco Rubio, Rick Scott, Hawley, Mike Lee, Ted Cruz. Also, Trump re-"truth"-ed a Breitbart article about the letter circulating to delay the vote.

You can bet the bank that Trump's been in contact with Rubio and others about this effort.

Trump is trying to unseat McConnell.

Watching these 1/6 videos of Pelosi and Schumer having to BEG impotent Departments of Defense and Justice for assistance while the United States Capitol was under siege is infuriating!

Their responses overheard from Pelosi's cellphone are pathetic. Humiliating! Why hasn't Wray answered for this yet?

Why don't we know who in the DoD was dragging their feet?

How many political fundraising emails do you get per day? By the way, I never donate from an email link. I just go to ActBlue, but my inbox is *so inundated* with these emails.

I've tried to "unsubscribe" but every time I get rid of one, it's like a fundraising Hydra monster. I get 3 more in its place.

FOURTEEN Former Trump aides were interviewed for this breaking story about Trump's mishandling of documents. 🧵

Some new info here: 👇

(1/6)

washingtonpost.com/national-secur… The story says that Trump *intimidated staffers* who might try to retrieve the classified documents.

Seems pretty important to dig into what this means. What exactly did he say or do when they tried? (2/6) Image

Poll: Should Congress pass a law against automatic subscription renewals?

(please retweet🙏) I think minimally, if you can subscribe to something online, you should be allowed to unsubscribe online and not have to search for a phone number, find a human, and then beg to be allowed to unsubscribe.

Both of which I had to do with @nytimes and @WSJ.

🚨 There's a pretty big hidden story here. 🔽

Christina Bobb is a cooperating witness or is in negotiations with DOJ to become one. 1/4

washingtonpost.com/national-secur… ‼️ Bobb has told more than one person that she is willing to cooperate with the Justice Department.

When asked by the Post whether she was negotiating with the DOJ, she said "I'm not allowed to talk about it." 2/4 Image

I'd love to hear reporters actually force Republicans to drill down on these parroted talking points.

"Exactly what would you do to reduce inflation?"

"Do you feel that allowing anyone to purchase an AK47 reduces crime?"

"What 'open border' are you talking about?" Furthermore, I think reporters should do the same thing with voters.

Reporter: What's the most important issue to you this year?

Voter: Inflation!

Reporter: What do you think politicians should do about it?

Will Van De Crommert originally wrote the piece, "Mirrors."

And he's quite unhappy that Trump and the QAnon movement have co-opted it.

"I do not support Donald Trump, and I do not support or espouse the beliefs of QAnon."

washingtonpost.com/politics/2022/… The year after Van De Crommert's song was first released (2019) some guy in Finland stole it and posted it on Spotify under the title WWG1WGA.

"This individual has unlawfully distributed my music under their own name,” he said of the Spotify user.

First questions a committee should publicly get Thomas on the record answering:

"Why did you tell the WH COS the lie Biden family was en route to GITMO to face treason charges?"

"What were you hoping he would do with that (mis)information?" Image "Do you frequently spread these types of lies?"

"Why do you spread dangerous propaganda?"

"Do you feel your special status as wife of a SCOTUS justice gives your lies more weight?"

Why the pillow guy's phone was seized. 🔽

The Mike Lindell cellphone seizure and Nov 3 Grand Junction Colo. grand jury subpoena appears to be related to his interactions with Tina Peters, the Mesa County, Colo. clerk who was indicted in March. 1/4

washingtonpost.com/investigations… Tina Peters (Q) was indicted on 10 counts after she snuck someone (a pro-surfer turned data expert wannabe) into a secure area of the Mesa County election office using someone else's ID to copy data from voting machines. 2/4

Raise your hand if you refuse to EVER watch @CBSNews after it hired Catherine Herridge, who literally conspired with Kremlin sources to deliver dozens and dozens of anti-Hillary Clinton "stories" for Fox News in 2015 and 2016. @CBSNews Here's her interview with Guccifer.

@CBS_Herridge ran tons of this straight-up Kremlin propaganda to damage @HillaryClinton.

Christopher Steele, former MI-6 officer, believed that his dossier was at least 70% accurate.

I've been thinking about this line a lot since NARA-Lago became public. 👇

Multiple sources told Steele that Trump and the Kremlin had a years-long intelligence exchange. Personally, I believe Trump's infatuation with Putin is so profound that he would provide him anything in order to please him.

A few things jumped out at me re. DOJ filing in MAL case:

1. They have evidence Trump tore up some of the records. 2. DOJ believes the removal of the items from the storage room was done to hide the records from them and is part of their obstruction case.

Wherein @TheBeatWithAri brings on Jon Sale (who turned down an offer to rep Trump in the Florida case), and Sale provides Trump free legal advice: Try to get a "special master" appointed.

Less than an hour later, Trump's team moves to do it.

Thanks, @AriMelber. Trump deserves his dumb lawyers, and he doesn't deserve your help.

This is fascinating and may give clues to what some of those documents were that Trump was hoarding.

washingtonpost.com/politics/2022/… On June 19, three days before DOJ subpoenaed the Mar-a-Lago security footage, Trump sent a letter to the National Archives, telling them he named two people as "representatives for access to Presidential records of my administration."

These were John Solomon and Kash Patel.

Loads of new stuff in this Newsweek story, which used two anon sources - officials with "direct knowledge."

1. The search warrant was to retrieve classified 'national defense information' that Trump was holding illegally.

newsweek.com/exclusive-info… 2. They'd been preparing for weeks to execute a search warrant at MAL. But the FBI Miami Field Office and Washington headquarters "were focused on the former president's scheduled return to Florida from his residences in New York and New Jersey."

Dear @maddow, @deadlineWH, @cnn, @washingtonpost , @60Minutes - THIS IS THE STORY.

This👇right here is Everything.

It's the streaming and cable companies forcing Fox on us all. "The carriage fees prop up the entire Fox operation and allow them to be as destructive as they are because they don’t have to respond to market forces."

A favor please:

Can an enterprising journalist please investigate the cable/satellite/streaming services that carry Fox News, whose unrepentant lies caused a rebellion against the United States? Put their spokespeople *on the record*.

Ask them if they feel in any way responsible for 1/6.

Ask them if they are doing anything to counter the lies they bring into tens of millions of homes every day.

I am outraged that Fox News repeatedly pushed the LIE that Trump approved 10,000 (or 20,000?) troops on 1/6.

And this after Fox pushed the "election is stolen" lie HUNDREDS of times!

Why aren't cable/satellite carriers dropping Fox News? Why aren't we demanding it!? I'm beyond furious right now. TENS OF MILLIONS of Americans believe straight-up LIES that threaten to lay waste to our democracy because @Uverse, @YouTubeTV, @ItsOnATT, @DIRECTV refuse to drop Fox.

🚨🚨 “We would just be sending in ‘fake’ electoral votes to Pence so that ‘someone’ in Congress can make an objection when they start counting votes, and start arguing that the ‘fake’ votes should be counted.” (email from Jack Wilenchik to Boris Epshteyn)
