I have always believed in the Pakistani Dream. I have waited all these decades for this Dream to come about. Sometimes it would appear as if it is just around the corner but then it would not materialize.
At times one would see it like a mirage in the desert and then it would just fade away. One day, IN SHAA ALLAH, the Pakistani Dream will be realized but it does not look likely to happen in the near future. What is the Dream I call ‘The Pakistani Dream’?
This Dream basically sets out the basics for the Pakistani Nation. It contains hope to some day see Pakistan being ruled by the Constitution it has and not a soul in Pakistan be he,or she, from any religion, caste, creed, color or ethnicity feels threatened.
Some of the basics of The Pakistani Dream are :-

The Pakistani Dream envisages a Pakistan that is governed strictly in accordance with the Constitution of Pakistan and through the systems and Institutions that take roots from the Constitution of Pakistan itself.
The Pakistani Dream envisages a Pakistan where the law and the law enforcing agencies become the protectors of the law abiding Pakistani citizens from all unlawful elements as well as from the State itself, should State Power be misused by any State functionary against any citizen
The Pakistani Dream envisages a Pakistan wherein all Pakistanis, from the commonest man to the President and Prime Minister, will be free citizens of a free and sovereign Pakistan that will promise equality of justice, equal employment opportunities and gender equality.
The Pakistani Dream envisages a Pakistan where empowerment of women, eradication of cronyism, uniform development across Pakistan to ensure facilities in the rural areas ensure a good standard of life, emancipation of the downtrodden and safety of life and property are all ensured
The Pakistani Dream envisages that the hitherto frictions between the Pakistani State and the Pakistani common citizen will end and the new motto for all Pakistanis will then be “Together we stand as one”.
The strongest pillar of the State of Pakistan is the one that stands on the strength of the 220 million Pakistanis. These 220 million will have to come together to bring about the Pakistan that each and very Pakistani dreams about.
The people, the Constitution and all of Pakistan’s organs when they act in unison and harmony will make Pakistan a developed, prosperous and progressive Country that will then become invincible in every sense of the word. IN SHAA ALLAH
From 8-10 yrs ago this quote means:-If we do not go for voluntary, dynamic and massive reforms in order to change for the better some changes will then be enforced by events and circumstances and instead of then benefitting from those changes we shall suffer major adversities
I stress on the fact that Pakistan is mother to each and every one of the 220 million proud Pakistanis who, together, make a great nation which has not taken off, yet, towards being a developed country. Please feel free to add whatever you may feel must be part of our Pakistani Dream
