Encourage but don't push
Parents: a shared state of confusion. And guilt. And shame.
Processing your trauma: hard to do once you have children. Parents need (and lack) support groups.
And another dimension: the strain that children put on relationships, and little time to process them. Lots of relationships break up when children arrive. Difficult to find people to talk about it. Again, support groups.
Integrate children in more of life.

Great approach to accepting homeoffice with children: "this is life". Allow children to be in the background of work calls, screaming. This is life.
