My heart soars—for our beautiful, great nation, & for millions of young wonderful immigrants who will make it even greater. The rule of law has won against mean-spirited lawless leaders, renewing trust in our courts.
We should be inspired by this historic legal victory to radically reform the present broken immigration system. Comprehensive immigration reform is no less urgent & vital.
This ruling is a landmark legal victory that will prevent the immense heartbreak of draconian mass deportation, but can never erase the massive suffering caused by Trump’s cruel, illegal policies.
Today is a welcome reprieve. Dreamers need & deserve permanent status & a pathway to citizenship. Congress must act now & pass the Dream Act.

I’m demanding action from the US Postal Service to find & deliver more than 1,100 military care packages sent by Boxes to Boots. They contain holiday treats & essentials meant to brighten the season for troops serving in 13 countries around the globe.
USPS chaos & confusion, caused by contradictory interpretations of tariff codes, & other technicalities, have led to stopping & misplacing these packages. The shipping fees alone have already cost more than $7,600 & most packages undelivered.
Having spoken to Kristen Gauvin, the wonderful leader of Boxes to Boots, & a dedicated postal worker seeking to assist her, I’m writing to USPS leaders demanding they fix this problem immediately. The holidays are here.

Again & again they decried Putin’s bloody assault & cried out their grief for Ukraine’s suffering—its desperate need for help in a struggle for survival. Support for Ukraine is “the right thing to do”.
With tears & anxious looks, they asked repeatedly where Ukraine could go for aid if America abandoned it, as Trump threatened in his White House ambush of Zelenskyy. They talked of loved ones, family & friends injured, traumatized, & harmed beyond words.
