BREAKING NEWS: Trump Is Using the Term "Fake Polls" to Attack Media to Hide That His 2020 Campaign Just Invented Fake Polls and Is Using Them Nationwide*

PS/ As I first said in 2016, take every statement Trump makes publicly, reverse it, and you've likely got something near the truth. Take every accusation Trump makes, reverse it, and you've probably got a credible allegation. This mechanism for "hearing" him will rarely fail you.
PS2/ If we'd used this method, the moment Trump said "all of you are publishing fake polls," we would have realized that Trump was confessing to using fake polls. And when Trump accused the Bidens of collusion in China, we would have known he was confessing to colluding in China.

My book doesn't come out until later in the summer, but I'm going to tell you now one thing that you'll find in it: all of the reporting indicates that Barr is involved in the dubious funding of the Trump 2020 campaign by foreign sources. This is all a lot worse than you realize.
1/ There's a reason that Barr issued an edict forbidding every type of federal investigation that could uncover wrongdoing in the Trump reelection campaign—particularly campaign finance issues—and then opened his door to any evidence that Giuliani might offer him about Joe Biden.
2/ William Barr is a conspirator—alongside his longtime associates Rudy Giuliani, Victoria Toensing and Joe diGenova—in facilitating foreign aid to Trump's campaign. There's a reason for all of the actions he has taken. There's a reason he's lying about Bolton's accurate account.

The sprawling investigation currently threatening Trump's presidency is the investigation of Giuliani. The odds that the Berman firing has to do with Giuliani, not Turkey, are high, with a caveat: Trump—via Stone—expected illegal aid from Turkey in 2016 and likely wants it again.
What I think has to be said full-throatedly by every lawyer is that Trump and Barr have both engaged in acts of obstruction already that would be treated as a crime in any other context, and should be in this one. So a modus operandi has been established that this firing follows.
We now have the fired person all but confirming that this is about an attempt to shut down certain investigations. The Giuliani investigation *involves Giuliani's illegal lobbying for Turkey*—so even a firing prompted by the Halkbank case *is* about protecting Trump and Giuliani.
