UPDATE: My source insists the late Governor is gone even though he still hasn’t been disconnected from life support.

I understand that other than placing him on life support, First Cardiology Consultants is “currently not doing anything else” on him.

By the way, many of those tweeting ‘Ajimobi is alive’ have not seen or spoken to him since y/day. His supporters & aides at the hospital do not even have access to him.

The media aide who issued a rebuttal did it only after making phone calls; he himself has no firsthand info.

It is now exactly two months since the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital (UITH) announced a committee to probe Prof A. K. Salami’s "highly unethical conduct” in the management of the first patient to unofficially die of COVID-19 at the hospital.

Audio investigation!

The committee was mandated to submit its report in a week, but it later got a one-week extension. Two months on, it hasn’t released its findings.

We’re not saying nail the Prof at all costs — even though we have the facts of the matter — but what did the committee find out?

While some people at NDDC are busy filling their pockets with public funds, the 210 Niger Delta students awarded overseas scholarships on July 30 2019 are suffering. This is June 1, 2020 and no money has been paid.

The universities have shut these students out of their online portals; they can’t access lectures. Meanwhile, NDDC no longer responds to emails from the schools.

Many of these students are stranded in school and threatened with eviction.
