i had a chat last night with one of charlottesville's park vigilantes. he denied having threatened to poison my dogs, but admitted to driving by my house numerous times.
brian, please explain the second post: are you threatening to cook & eat my dogs or burn down my house?

the vigilante situation in downtown charlottesville has gotten out of control. there was a spike of activity last year that burned out pretty quickly when they got too cold, but they've been out there all night every night for weeks picking fights with anyone who walks by.

"the enemy" here is just some guy who lives nearby, out walking his dog. he got into a verbal altercation with these self-appointed monument guards because he's tired of armed vigilantes camping out on the sidewalk all night every night.

this facebook page, which i believe is run by the monument lawsuit plaintiffs, applauds the actions of the "monument guards" and invents out of whole cloth stories of foiled plots, close calls, and violent attacks.

the only attacks are coming from the vigilantes.

but the page is right about one thing: we absolutely can & will dox every monument guard. it's not a punitive measure, but one of community safety. if you see these men, you may be in danger:
