Thread: Open Source Findings on Sindhudesh Revolutionary Army (SRA)

The SRA claimed responsibility for three consecutive bomb blasts in southern Sindh (Karachi, Ghotki and Larkana) that left 4 casualties including two Sindh Rangers personnel (Source: reuters.com/article/us-pak…)
30 May 2016: Jon Boone of The Guardian (UK) was the first to report about the SRA. He mentioned propaganda flyers containing anti-Punjab and anti-CPEC rhetoric during an attack on a Chinese engineer in Karachi which injured him and his driver (Source: theguardian.com/world/2016/may…)
31 July 2016: Mohammad Hussain Khan of Dawn reported twin blasts by SRA in Larkana which martyred a Rangers soldier and injured 15 others (Source: dawn.com/news/1274451)
11 July 2017: Imran Awan of Daily Times Pakistan reported a blast by SRA in Karachi which damaged a green belt on the National Highway. Fortunately, no casualties were reported (Source: dailytimes.com.pk/2500/chinese-e…)
30 October 2018: A Dawn report mentioned the surrender/arrest of Jeay Sindh Muttahida Mahaz (JSMM) Gen Secy Ghulam Shabbir Mallah who claimed receiving bomb-making training in Afghanistan. The arrest was part of anti-JSMM and anti-SRA raids (Source: dawn.com/news/1442276)
5 April 2019: The Balochistan Post publishes a report about SRA claiming responsibility for a blast in Hyderabad. There was no mention of any casualties. It was the first instance in which SRA spokesperson's name was disclosed ("Sodho Sindhi") (Source: thebalochistanpost.com/2019/04/%D8%AD…)

5 January 2020: Report by The Balochistan Post reveals name of SRA commander 'Sufi Shah Inayat'. He welcomed the 3 January 2020 speech by Altaf Hussain "bhai" urging for a united front for the 'liberation' of Sindh (Source: thebalochistanpost.com/2020/01/%d8%a7…)
28 February 2020: Zia Ur Rehman of The News reported that SRA claimed responsibility for an attack which injured police officer Riaz Amir in Karachi, reportedly to avenge the killing of Jeay Sindh Tehreek (JST) leader Irshad Ranjhani in 2019 (Source: thenews.com.pk/print/626613-s…)
10 June 2020: The Balochistan Post reported that SRA was behind an explosion in Karachi which, according to them, caused 2 casualties (unverified) (Source: thebalochistanpost.com/2020/06/%da%a9…)

The official website of SRA was created on 21st December 2018 hosted on US-based IP address 198.71.233.51.
SRA claim on their official website that they 'came into being' in December 2010 but there is no open source evidence to corroborate this assertion.
