"How do I feel happy?"

Lets break down the physical and the mental.

▪️ Physical

Happiness needs to be earned.

It is earned with correct actions that build your self esteem.
Examples: exercising, eating healthy, making money, helping others, overcoming fear, socializing etc...

Any type of action that helps you to progress will build your self esteem and you'll be rewarded with happiness.
The problem is, people focus on the emotion - feeling good.

The brain loves searching for the fastest and easiest way to achieve it's goal.

The easiest and fastest ways are things that make you feel good for a short period of time; junk food, TV, video games, alcohol, drugs...
These things are bad for your self esteem. They decrease it and make you feel unhappy most of the time.

You have to focus on performing good habits and actions to feel happy and proud of yourself most of the time.

▪️Mental

The mental is a bit more tricky."
"Why?"

Because every person is different and there are many factors that contribute to happiness or unhappiness.

Some people have limiting beliefs that make it harder for them to feel happy.

"Life is difficult."
"People don't like me."
"I'm worthless."
"Nothing goes my way."
Limiting beliefs are powerful. They create your logic, your perspective, your thoughts and emotions.

Focus - a lot of people focus on the negative of neutral situations.

They can get up in the morning completely healthy, with a roof over their heads, food on the table...
And think about all the emails they have to send today.

They feel terrible and they just got out of bed.

Now they turn on the TV and listen to The News (because you can't start your day without knowing how many people got killed in a car accident...)
They get in the car, start driving and get stuck in traffic.

"I'm so over with this day.."

Sounds familiar?

When it comes to the mentality, you have to take care of both aspects, the internal and external world.

Learn to react well to external situations, reframe them.
Challenge yourself and choose to see the good in everything. Even in the most difficult scenarios.

The external will always throw challenges at you, but you can train yourself to be mentally strong and overcome them.

Internal world - you need to rewire your brain differently.
• Train your self talk to be positive, arrogant, strong.

• Be grateful often, appreciate even the small things.

• Reframe everything. Your thoughts, beliefs, past painful memories.

• Learn to handle different emotions well.

• Focus on the right things most of the time.
This thread is very general. I can go on and on, elaborate and break things down.

But for now, I don't want to overcomplicate it.

1. Make progress every day, avoid procrastinating as much as possible because it is the number one killer of your self esteem.
2. Train your mind to be positive most of the time.

You do that by constantly reframing the negative and shifting your focus back to the positive, again and again.

Let me know if you have any questions, I'm here to help.

Remember, your happiness is 100% in your control.
