(1/n) Seeing tweets of people about how women are not allowed to do rituals, upanayan e.t.c.
I know I may face some backlashes on this topic.
I AM READY FOR THAT
[THREAD]
(2/n) The oldest literature of the world is the Veda, composed in India over many millennia ago and last recompiled 5100 years ago by the banks of the river Sarasvati.
The Veda had not been a male preserve alone. About 24 of the Vedic Rishi were women, who had themselves composed
(3/n) some of the Vedic verses. Their names, as authors of respective verses can be traced in the Veda 👇👇

(/n) [THREAD] According to the famous Japanese academic of Veda and Buddhism, Hajime Nakamura, India had a great influence on Japanese culture. In his book, ‘Gotama Buddha’, he says,

“Without Indian influence, Japanese culture would not be what it is today.”
(2/n) The first samskrt text in Brahmi script arrived in Japan in 552 CE, which is now preserved in the Sutra godown of Zenkouji temple. Pic 1

In 607 CE, Prince Shotoku began lecturing in Samskrt at Nara College. Pic 2
(3/n) In the medieval period, around 760 CE, there was a great Buddhist monk by the name Bodhidharma, Daruma as he was called in Japan, who travelled from Kanchipuram in South India, over the seas, eastwards taking with him the teachings of Buddha and meditation, dhyana.

(1/n)🤦🤦Great this was the only thing left to see.

Mahishasura was the son of Rambha, and the great-grandson of Brahmarshi Kashyapa.
HE WAS BORN IN A BRAHAMAN LINEAGE.
LIBERALS NOW DIGEST THIS PLEASE.
(2/n) He had secured a boon from Lord BRAHMA that he can be vanquished only by a woman, this made him felt invincible.

Mahishasura had established his rule in Amravati ( the kingdom of Indra)
(3/n) This is what Mahishasura had said to Maa Durga👇
The biggest mistake of Mahishasura was that he thought that this is just a mere woman she can't defeat her, so he has all the right to see her as a property.

(1/n)
एकजातिर्द्विजातींस्तु वाचा दारुणया क्षिपन् ।जिह्वायाः प्राप्नुयाच्छेदं जघन्यप्रभवो हि सः ।। 8/270

This shloka is not the part of original Manuscript of manu smriti, it was later added, although the translation is here for the shloka-
(2/n) Idiots always mention the shlokas which were not the part of original Manusmriti and say all these Bûllshît.

They even don't know how Manu used the 4 varnas in what context.

Here are all about it.

(1/n) Indica was originally written in Latin and Greek.
The original book is now lost, but its fragments have survived in later Greek and Latin works.
The earliest of these works are those by Diodorus Siculus, Strabo (Geographica), Pliny, and Arrian (Indica)
(2/n) The root of caste is the Latin castus, which means "chaste" or "pure, separated."
So the word used by Megasthenes was referring to pure or separated.
That's also the Word ‘Varna’ refers to.
The word was later used by Britishers, no one said that it was invented by British
(3/n) The term “Caste System” was first used by the British colonial rulers in the 1871 census of India as one more of their ploy to divide and rule India.
