Try to do my best linking good source material from #Milwaukee describing the #SexTrafficking search and rescue that happened from Monday June 22nd thru Wednesday June 24th in this thread.
First, this story serves as a "ground floor" so you can get a general idea of what went down, who was involved, and what the issues are:

Missing Black Girls Found After Cops Don’t Issue Amber Alert Amid Sex Trafficking Suspicions: Report
newsone.com/3965112/milwau…
The story tells us that two teen girls went missing Sunday, but didn't meet Amber Alert criteria, according to Milwaukee PD.
Local photographer, Amanda Schlicher Press offered her own account of the case, which culminated in the reported safe rescue of the girls on Tuesday night.
Neighbors in the community went to the address, and were fired at by someone in the house.
This happened at around 11am according to this report: fox6now.com/2020/06/23/mil…
Police arrived afterwards, arrested people inside the house, and left. The girls weren't found at that scene.
The house was then set on fire, according to the photographer, Press. Police said it started with a couch.
Afterwards, around 4PM:
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel described it this way:
( jsonline.com/story/news/loc… )
Using all mentioned stories as sources, and paraphrasing:

Milwaukee Police Chief Alfonso Morales said they can't confirm the sex trafficking allegations, but are investigating.

The Chief then focused on the response from locals, calling it “vigilantism” and “an unruly crowd”.
The Chief also said, pointedly:
"Police had "not received the cooperation we would expect from family."

After 7 p.m., there was a protest march held elsewhere in the city, which a caravan of cars followed behind.
For locals that have put out good information I see two more:

The first is local organizer Frank Nitty, who's FB is here:
facebook.com/profile.php?id…
He is also mentioned in this story, that I just found. Video included.
heavy.com/news/2020/06/w…
Here's a quote from Nitty, but you'll want to read the article linked in the last tweet.
The second local is Community activist Vaun L. Mayes.

His FB that also has video is here: facebook.com/YungLz
He worked with Missing Persons MKE, who's FB is here:
facebook.com/permalink.php?…
Missing MKE is:
"a social media network... created in February “because there is a clear bias and selective culture/practice when it comes to issuing timely amber alerts and missing person reports in Milwaukee for POC.”
That is the story as far as I can see as of the time of this tweet.
Any further information I have will be posted on my timeline, and if solid, will be added onto this thread.
If you've read this far, thanks.
