1/ Dear @fortunechasi

Some decisions being made by government departments are so bad and unjustifiable. Why is 20% Ethanol more expensive than 80% Petroleum fuel? What is the purpose of blending if blended fuel is expensive compared to unblended one? What is the justification?
2/ Fuel is still 0.70 in Zimbabwe, who is paying for the diference? Why is government subsidising & why not take the money being spent for subsidies and pay civil servants in forex since @ReserveBankZIM & @ZimTreasury have failed to curb black market trading?
3/ Some decisions are playing into the script that ED is incompetent. A house divided against itself will not stand. Can @zeraenergy kindly explain how they ended up getting $1.28? Using their own figures (0.8x0.3776)+(0.2x1.1)+0.3+0.101+0.122 = 1.04508
4/ Secondly, what is the point of blending with ethanol? It’s more expensive than the petrol itself. Why are we not using that money to import the petrol? The price of ethanol is over half the total cost of the final product yet it makes up only 20% of the final blended fuel.
5/ Who is forcing it on Zimbabwe and why? E20 can't cost 1.28usd. When they increased the price they should have reduced mandatory blending. Mr Minister help us understand here, E20 is 80% Petrol and 20% ethanol, how come 200ml of ethanol is more expensive than 800ml of petrol?
6/ Why are we blending at all?People are being robbed here? Initially, we were blending to cut costs, now we paying more to enrich the fuel cartel. Why dont we allow the market to determine the price of fuel? Musaite majokes nevanhu veduwe, we are already going through a lot.
7/ Stop paying Billy money for nothing and use the money to pay civil servants hard currency? Why don't we stop subsidies that are not benefiting citizens but the cartels and use the money to cushion our doctors, nurses and teachers? @Anglistone1 @ZIMCODD1
@nickmangwana @OMpslsw
